1 medium red bell pepper, seeds and membranes removed, thinly sliced
4 garlic cloves, minced (2 teaspoon minced garlic or ½ teaspoon garlic powder)
3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
Pinch crushed red pepper flakes
4 chicken breasts, skinless and boneless, all fat removed
1 tablespoon whole-wheat flour
½ cup low-fat milk
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
½ cup organic, reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme leaves
Dash cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (1/2 lemon)
