Chili Lime Crockpot Chicken

An easy, healthy, and delicious crock pot chicken meal. Toss this in the crock pot to stay on track with healthy eating when you get home.

6 chicken breasts
Dry rub: 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, 1 teaspoon chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder
1/4 cup lime juice (1 lime squeezed)
3 cloves garlic (smashed and then diced)
1 tablespoon olive oil
Wash the chicken breast off and dry with a paper towel. Dust the chicken with the dry rub evenly coating it with the chili powder, cayenne, and cumin. Use a gallon size ziplock bag to place the chicken...

Marinated Taro Root

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
