Chilly Chicken

A blend of Chinese and Indian cuisine

1 lb Boneless Chicken pieces
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
3 tsp unsweetened yogurt
Corn flour -to coat the chicken pieces
1 bell pepper
1 chili peppers, green
1 onion
1 tomato
2 teaspoon chili sauce(1 tsp for gravy and 1 for marinating chicken)
2 teaspoon ketchup(1 tsp for gravy and 1 for marinating chicken)
2 teaspoon soy sauce(1 tsp for gravy and 1 for marinating chicken)
2 green onions ( for garnish )
2 teaspoons vegetable oil-For making chicken gravy
1 cup vegetable oil-For deep frying chicken
2 clove(s) garlic
2 teaspoon salt(1 tsp for gravy and 1 for marinating chicken)
1 teaspoon pepper(half tsp for gravy and half for marinating chicken)
1.Marinate the chicken pieces with unsweetened yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, 1 tsp oil, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper powder, 1 tsp tomato ketchup, 1 tsp chilly sauce, 1 tsp soy sauce and corn flour.Leave the marinated chicken like this for 4-5 hours or overnight. 2. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the chicken pieces. 3. Chop onion,green chilly,green pepper,garlic cloves, tomato and spring/green onions. 4.In a pan, add 2 tsp oil.To the oil, add chopped garlic cloves and green chillies. 3.Once garlic cloves are slightly brown in color, add the onions and cook till it is slightly brown. 4.Add chopped tomatoes and bell pepper to the onions.Cook till bell pepper and tomatoes are soft/tender. 5.Once green pepper-onion-tomato mix is cooked, add fried chicken pieces to the mix.Add tomato ketchup,chilly sauce, soy sauce,salt and pepper and cook for 10 minutes.Garnish it with chopped green onions. Chilly chicken is ready to be served with fried rice/noodles or put the above mix in a wrap.
