Choco Kiwi Truffles
15
Cute and decorative dessert that will explode your taste buds!
20
For the truffles:
4 smaller kiwifruit (peeled and mashed)
1 1/2 cups butter biscuits (minced)
1 cup walnuts (minced)
1 cup powdered sugar
green food coloring (to taste)
For the icing:
5/8 cups (100 grams) dark chocolate
2 tbsp vegetable oil
4 smaller kiwifruit (peeled and mashed)
1 1/2 cups butter biscuits (minced)
1 cup walnuts (minced)
1 cup powdered sugar
green food coloring (to taste)
For the icing:
5/8 cups (100 grams) dark chocolate
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1. Mix all the ingredients for the truffles using your hands or a blender until fully combined. You can add some green food coloring if you want more strong green truffles. I did't put any in those in the photo.
2. Cover the bowl with a foil and leave in a fridge for an hour.
3. Form truffles (choose the size for your convenience).
4. Put about 4 cups of water in a cooking pot and bring to a boil. Put the chocolate (roughly crushed) and the oil in a smaller heatproof pot and place it over the pot with boiling water. Allow chocolate to melt and to combine with the oil by mixing occasionally. Allow to cool for a few minutes.
5. Put each truffle in the lukewarm chocolate icing using toothpicks until the truffle is fully covered with chocolate. Put them back in the fridge for an hour or two and prepare your senses for enjoying! :)
Bon appétit!
