Apple Cinnamon Crockpot Steel Cut Oats are creamy, hearty, and easily prepared to feed the whole family or meal prep for the week!

1.5 cup steel cut oats (I used quick-cooking)
2 chopped apples (I used Gala)
1 can full-fat coconut milk (adds healthy fat and creaminess!)
3 cups water
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup maple syrup
Optional add-ins after cooking: nut butter, protein powder

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
