Cinnamon Rice Pudding

A delicious and easy rice pudding for people who love cinnamon.

1/2 cup cooked basmati rice
1 1/2 cups whole milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (add more if you want)
1 cardamom pod (optional)
Heat up the milk in the microwave for a minute. Combine all the ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil. Lower the heat until it becomes a simmer. Cook until most of the milk has been absorbed. Bring the heat back up and cook until it becomes a thick pudding. Discard the cardamom and eat warm, or refrigerate until cold.
