Our Classic Meat and Cheese Lasagna has a savory meat sauce and layers of two different cheeses, making it a classic lasagna everyone is sure to love!

2 tablespoon olive oil (separated)
1 pound ground sirloin, or ground beef
1 (24 ounce) spaghetti sauce, any flavor
1 (28 ounce) crushed or diced tomatoes
1 cup water (to rinse out spaghetti jar and tomato can)
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon dehydrated minced onions
1 tablespoon dried parsley (plus 1 teaspoon for the top layer)
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
12 lasagna noodles
6 cups shredded mozzarella
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
