Cold-Busting Chicken Noodle Soup

As always, ALL ingredients are natural. No “cream of” junk here! This soup also contains many winter-cold-fighting ingredients such as ginger and chicken broth! Tip: Boiling the chicken for longer with create a thicker, more flavorful broth. Ready to fill your home with a sense of warmth and straight up good cookin?

1 whole fryer chicken
1/2 onion, chopped to desired size
1 TBS fresh ginger root, grated. (Store the rest and use in teas!)
2 tsp garlic, minced.
1 16 oz carton chicken broth (If you don't have this, just add more water to your stock pot and boil the chicken for an hour longer.)
6 large carrots, washed, peeled and sliced
4 large celery stalks, washed and chopped
1 bag/box egg noodles (I use whole wheat)
Assorted spices:
- Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, Thyme,
Salt, Pepper to taste.
