Corn patties

Corn patties makes healthy and delicious snack.It takes very less time to prepare and tastes great.corn patties can be served as snack or breakfast for kids.

½ cup corn meal
2 cup frozen/ fresh corn
2 tsp white flour
½ tsp ginger
½ tsp garlic
1 tsp green chili chopped
½ tsp salt
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp coriander leaves chopped
1 tsp oil to grease the skillet
*Thaw the corn and blend to form a coarse texture paste. *In a mixing bowl ,add the blended corn,corn meal,white flour and the spices mentioned in ingredients and combine well to form a thick batter consistency. *Heat the skillet on medium heat and grease the skillet with oil and drop a spoon full of corn batter and spread gently about 2 in diameter and cook the patties for 2 min until the bottom turns golden brown. *Flip over and cook the patties for another 2 min. *Repeat the above step and cook all the patties in the similar way. *Serve the hot and spicy corn patties with ketchup or chutney and enjoy.
