Crumble with plums

13

I though it is the most amazing winter dessert, with a nice glass of wine, or a cinnamon hot chocolate, but I have made it just yesterday and was astonished how good it is, no matter what time of year it is, So don't hesitate to make this easy, and really fast dessert whenever you feel like eatnig something pie-like: nice baked fruit with easy crumble dough.

For CRUMBLE

200 g all-purpose flour
100 g oat flakes or musli
110 g butter
100 g sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

1 kg plums
5 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp cornstach
1 tsp cinnamon
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees C, or 395 F. Open your plums to take the pit out and leave them as that or separate the two parts, it doesn't really matter. I usually just leave them, couse I have a better covering of the pan. Plase you plums on the pan or casserole with the peel downside. Sprinkle generosly with sugar/cornstach/cinnamon mix. For the crumbles mix the flour, sugar, oat flakes, cinnamon and room tempertured butter. Mix all ingredients with you hands, until small crumbles start to make. It usually takes around 10 minutes for me to get the perfect crumbles. Sprinkle the crumble dough on top of the plums, and make sure you do not have holes on it, so plum juice can't go out when baking. Bake for 30 minutes, until the top has nice golden color. I like to make these in little remekins, around 9 cm or 3.5 inch diameter. It makes a nice individual portion. (Although Iusually serve two of them for each person. They are yummy, and also I like to make 2 flavores, so make the half with plums, and the other half with apples, or pears. It's delicius as well.)
