Easy Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

I love Chicken Cordon Bleu, but sometimes I don't want to go to all the trouble to make it. This casserole gives me the same amazing flavor but is a lot easier to put together. This is perfect for a pot luck dish and will feed about 12 people. In my family however, since we all love it so much, it was gone with only seven of us! Yikes!! Love it!! -Robin

8 boneless chicken breasts

8 oz. cooked ham
1 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
1/2 lb. fresh sliced mushrooms
6 green onions, chopped
2 cups bread crumbs
Salt and pepper to taste
4 Tbsp. butter, melted
