Easy Garlic & Brown Sugar Chicken

A quick, easy chicken recipe for days when you don't want to spend time in the kitchen. Goes great with potatoes or rice. Even finicky people will like it! As it bakes, the garlic & brown sugar melt together into a sweet glaze.

8 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 Tbsp. diced, jarred garlic
8 Tbsp. brown sugar
3 tablespoon olive oil
additional herbs and spices, as desired

Preheat oven to 425°F.
Line a baking dish or cookie sheet with aluminum foil and lightly coat with cooking spray or lightly brush with oil.
In small sauté pan, sauté garlic with the oil for a minute or two.
Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar. Add additional herbs and spices as desired.
Place chicken breasts in a prepared baking dish and cover with the garlic and brown sugar mixture.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Bake uncovered for 25-35 minutes, or until juices run clear.
Cooking time will depend on the size and thickness of your chicken.
