Easy sweet and sour chicken

Delicious home made sweet and sour chicken

The Chicken:
3-4 lbs cubed chicken breasts
1 cup cornstarch
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 canola oil
Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste

The Sauce:
3/4 cup sugar
4 Tbs. ketchup
1/2 cup vinegar
1 Tbs. soy sauce
1 tsp. garlic salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Season cubed chicken with salt, peeper and garlic powder. Place cornstarch into gallon sized ziplock bag and shake chicken until evenly coated. Dip chicken in beaten eggs. Heat 1/4 cup canola oil on large skillet and cook chicken util lightly browned but not cooked through. Place chicken into 9x13 baking dish. Mix sauce ingredients in bowl and pour evenly over chicken. Bake for 1 hour, turn chicken to coat with sauce every 20 min.
