Farfalle with Pollock Roe

Pollock Roe is often served in Japanese restaurant or Izakaya. They come as nigiri sushi topping or other forms. Why not try it with pasta and make a fusion main dish?

2 ounces serving of farfalle
2 tbsp olive oil
2 chopped garlic cloves
½ cup chopped onion
½ cup chopped basil
2 tbsp Pollock Roe (mentaiko)
Cook farfalle, drain and set aside. Heat olive oil, sauté garlic, onion and basil for about 3 minutes. Pour over farfalle and mix. Add mentaiko and mix again.
