This giant gingerbread cookie baked in a cast iron skillet is easy to make and a different way to enjoy a Christmastime classic!

1/2 C. butter, softened
3/4 C. dark brown sugar, packed
1/3 C. molasses
1 large egg
2 tbsp. water
2 2/3 C. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground allspice
¼ tsp. ground cloves, optional
