1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Juice of 1 lemon*

85 g (2/3 cup) ground almonds
85 g (2/3 cup) gluten-free flour (or sub plain flour if not gluten-free)
1 teaspoon baking powder (ensure gluten-free if necessary)
1/4 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
190 ml (4/5th cup) milk, any kind
