Grandma Bell's Goulash Recipe

My husband and daughter love this recipe. I typically make a big pot and let my family eat on it during the week. This is a wonderful go to meal, after working all day. Truly a family favorite!!

1 lb mild pork sausage (hot sausage can be used if you like it spicy)
1 lb hamburger
1 onion (chopped)
1 tbsp salt
1/2 tbsp pepper
1/4 cup chili powder
16 ozs shell pasta or elbow macaroni
12 ozs tomato juice
21 ozs tomato soup
45 ozs chili beans
15 ozs kidney beans
30 ozs peeled tomatoes (diced)
1 lb hamburger
1 onion (chopped)
1 tbsp salt
1/2 tbsp pepper
1/4 cup chili powder
16 ozs shell pasta or elbow macaroni
12 ozs tomato juice
21 ozs tomato soup
45 ozs chili beans
15 ozs kidney beans
30 ozs peeled tomatoes (diced)
In a large skillet combine hamburger, sausage, onion, salt, pepper and chili powder.
Brown it until pink is gone and meat is well browned.
While the meat is browning, cook the pasta according to package directions.
When the hamburger/sausage mixture is done, drain any fat.
Drain the pasta when done.
In a large pan, combine hamburger, pasta and all remaining ingredients.
Serve hot with garlic bread.
*Save remaining leftovers, as this is even better the next day.
