1 teaspoon sugar
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste with Italian herbs
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (4.25 ounce) can chopped black olives
¾ cup pasta water
2 cups (5 ounces) sharp cheddar cheese, grated, divided
2 tablespoons basil, chopped
¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese for the top
