Hearty Winter Chili

If you're like me, you are polishing off your flip flops and already perusing the swimsuit aisles. I'm ready for summer!!!! But since for some of us, mother nature isn't so inclined, I took my opportunity to celebrate National Chili Day with this hearty, low-carb recipe. It's spicy, it's beefy, and it will warm you up until it's warm enough to drive around with the windows down.

2 lb ground beef
1/2 medium onion, chopped
Small can tomato puree
14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
1 (or many) jalepeños, chopped
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp salt (or to taste)
