This soy-free alternative to regular canned chicken broth goes well with stews, soups, and as a drink. It also happens to be gluten-free and easy to make. Throw ingredients in your crockpot, click “On,” and walk away. The crockpot does the work for you! It’s that simple!

Bones from desired source (we roast a chicken first and afterward use the bones for making broth)
8 or more cups water (enough to cover bones)
