How to Make Masala Chaas

This revitalizing summer drink ‘Masala Chaas’ aka ‘Spiced Buttermilk‘ is made with chilled yogurt and fresh herbs such as cilantro or mint. You can also make this chaas in any desired fruity and veggies flavors. I chose the strawberry flavor and made this Strawberry Masala Chaas.

• Natural Yogurt – 1 1/2 cups
• Chilled water – 2 cups (you can adjust the amount of water according to your preference)
• Fresh mint leaves – 4 tbsp
• Green chili – 2
• Ginger, peeled – 1/2? inch piece
• Fresh coriander leaves – 4 tbsp
• Salt to taste
• Himalayan Black Salt – ¼ tsp
• Roasted Cumin powder – 1 tbsp
• Ground black pepper – 1 tsp
For Serving:
• Mint leaves
• Cumin powder and ground black pepper
• Ice cubes as required

I love it because it's great for a holiday dinner. Everyone raves and it get devoured in no time. But, it's also perfect for busy weeknights. You can easily assemble this casserole ahead of time and stash it in the fridge until you're ready to eat it. Then just bake it off. 30 minutes and done!
