2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/4 cups shredded sweetened coconut, 1/4 to top
2 cups white sugar
5 eggs
1 cup chopped hazelnuts
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract or 3 teaspoons vanilla flavoring

Icing:
3/4 cup butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract or 3 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups cream cheese
6 cups powdered sugar, sifted
