Italian Chocolate Sponge Cake

This sponge cake is light and fluffy. It is widely used as birthday cakes in Italy and can be decorated as desired. Very easy to make using an electric mixer and you can't go wrong with this one! You can decorate this cake with whipped cream and fruit or with any topping of your choice.

5 eggs
150 g sugar
90 g flour
30 g cornstarch
30 g cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 Tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon vanilla pinch of salt
Pre-heat oven to 350 deg. F Put the eggs, sugar and a pinch of salt in the bowl of an electic mixer. Beat on high for 10 minutes, then add honey and vanilla. Continue beating for another 10 minutes...
