Make Your Own Pizza Dough
24
Just make this crust and roll it out, then add any toppings you want.
8
1 Cup Warm Water
1 Tbsp Yeast
1 Tbsp Sugar
2 Tbsp Oil
1 tsp Salt
2 1/2 C Flour
1 Tbsp Yeast
1 Tbsp Sugar
2 Tbsp Oil
1 tsp Salt
2 1/2 C Flour
Add the warm water to your mixing bowl, and add the yeast. Let the yeast grow a bit, then add the rest of the ingredients. Start mixing. I use an electric mixing bowl with a dough hook. Let it mix until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Pull dough out and knead a bit if it is too sticky. Then play with the dough a bit to start to form your round. Place your round on your pizza stone or cooking sheet. Roll it out to desired thickness. This dough can be pretty thick for a large size pizza stone, so you may want to separate into halves if you like a thinner crust. Bake at 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes, or if your oven is really hot like mine drop to 400 degrees.
