Mary's Pumpkin Chip French Toast Bake

No joke. Words like, “that looks awesome,” were muttered over and over when I took the dish out of the oven. And from an almost 18 year old, whose not a man of many words, that’s saying something. The smell filled the kitchen; making the perfect mix of cinnamon and the smell of our huge Frasier Fir that will be taken down entirely too soon on that Christmas morn. 5 cups cubed bagel pieces (about 4-5 bagels)
6 tbsp butter, melted
2 C milk
4 eggs
1 C pumpkin puree
2 tsp vanilla extract
2/3 C sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
2/3 C mini chocolate chips

Toppings:¼ C flour
¼ C brown sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
4 tbsp butter, softened

Glaze:
½ C powdered sugar
2 tsp milk (I used more to make it a thinner consistency)
