Moist Whole Wheat Muffins

These muffins are perfect paired with soup or a salad. Not as heavy as most wheat muffins, they are moist and delicious!

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup white flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup molasses
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and brown sugar. In a separate bowl beat the egg. To the egg add in the buttermilk, oil and molasses.
