Mussels and Clams in Garlic White Wine Sauce

Eating "gourmet" may be easier and less expensive than you might think. Every few months we get a craving for some delicious little clams and mussels drenched in a garlic white wine sauce...sounds fancy right?! Well, it is, but it doesn't come with a high price tag. This dish has evolved over time, since we first had it in Australia when JP's godmother made it for us. And I know I can make this without feeling guilty- do you know how cheap clams and mussels are? Like $3-4 per

1/2-1 pound of clams and mussels (each)
1 Box of Linguine Pasta
2-3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
2-3 Roma tomatoes, diced
1/4 cup chicken stock or any kind of seafood stock you might have, I like chicken stock, I think it gives the dish a nice flavor
1/2 cup dry white wine (I like to use Sauvignon Blanc)
Fresh Parley and Parmesan to sprinkle on top before serving

Heat Olive oil in large skillet and saute garlic and tomatoes until tender, or about 3-5 minutes. Do not let your garlic burn of it will taste very very bad!
