Onion Roasted Potatoes

I like to mix first 6 ingredients and then add potatoes in a large plastic bag, shaking thoroughly to coat.

1 envelope onion soup mix
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon marjoram
1/2 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds potatoes, quartered and peeled
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In shallow baking pan thoroughly blend all ingredients except potatoes. *See note above. Add potatoes and turn to coat thoroughly. Bake stirring occasionally, 1 hour or until potatoes are golden and tender.
