Orchiette con Broccolini e Bruschetta

Coming from Campagna Laziale, this is a recipe my uncle and cousins would prepare after a day of picking broccolini in the spring. The broccolini in this dish compliments the bruschetta nicely while adding a great source of vitamin C. Perfect dish for a warm afternoon with a bottle of Marino.

• 1 lb. orecchiette
• 4 oz olive oil
• 4 cloves of garlic minced
• 2 pinches of red pepper
• 3 bunches of diced broccolini
• 1 cup diced tomato
• 6 basil leaves chopped
• 1/4 red onion diced
