Oven Porcupines are wonderfully seasoned meatballs with rice mixed in them. Mine are baked in a tempting gravy that will have you licking your plate!

For the meatballs:
2 lbs. lean ground beef
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups uncooked instant rice
1 cup water
4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 small diced yellow onion
2 tsp. dried ground mustard
1 tsp. celery salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper

For the gravy:
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 cups milk
4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce ( or more to your liking)
Preheat oven to 350º. In a large bowl, mix all 10 meatball ingredients together. Form into golf-ball sized meatballs & place on a greased rimmed cookie sheet. Bake meatballs for 25 - 30 minutes, until done through. Transfer to 9 x 13 baking dish, placing together in a single layer. In a seperate bowl, mix 3 gravy ingredients well. Pour over meatballs. Cover with foil & bake @ 350º for 1 hour. Serve over cooked instant rice. NOTE: This makes a lot! I usually have a 9 x 13 plus a 8 x 8 casserole pans full. This freezes well. I freeze after topping with gravy but BEFORE final baking.
