Quick, easy, and healthy pad thai (no fish sauce!)

1/2 package dry rice stick noodles
1 head of cabbage
1-3 jalapenos (depending on how spicy you like it)
1-3 tbs garlic
1 tbs peanut oil
2-3 tbs soy sauce
2-3 tbs Lee Kum Kee's Chili Garlic Sauce (can be found in many grocery stores with a well-stocked international foods section, otherwise at any Asian grocery)
1 lb uncooked shrimp, peeled and de-veined
