Pumpkin pie with cobbler instead of crust. This dessert will melt in your mouth

1 can solid pumpkin
1 15 oz can evaporated milk
1 cup of sugar
1/2 tsp of salt
2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice
3 eggs beaten
1/2 cup butter
1 box yellow cake mix
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 inch pan. Mix above ingredients (except butter and cake mix) in mixing bowl and pour into pan. Sprinkle yellow cake mix over the top Cut 1/2 cup butter into small pieces and dot over cobbler. Bake for 25-45 minutes Serve with whipped topping.
