Quinoa & Cashew Bread

For most people that begin a journey of healthy eating, bread can be one of the hardest things to give up, so I really wanted to find an amazing alternative. I’ve tried several times to make a good healthy bread but always struggled finding one that’s really simple to make. It’s especially important as it’s a food that most people have as a staple in their everyday diet.

2 cups/200g of quinoa flakes
3/4 cup/100g of cashews
1/3 cup/60g of chia seeds
1 cup/150g of sunflower seeds (plus 10g extra for the top)
1 1/4 cups/300ml of water
1 tsp. of sea salt
3 tbsp. of melted coconut oil (plus extra for greasing)
1 tbsp. of nutritional yeast
3/4 cup/100g of cashews
1/3 cup/60g of chia seeds
1 cup/150g of sunflower seeds (plus 10g extra for the top)
1 1/4 cups/300ml of water
1 tsp. of sea salt
3 tbsp. of melted coconut oil (plus extra for greasing)
1 tbsp. of nutritional yeast
1. Preheat your oven to 180C.
2. Mix all of the dry ingredients together, then slowly add in your water and oil.
3. Grease a bread baking tin with coconut oil and place the bread in the oven.
