Quinoa Chickpea Chili

Slow cooker Quinoa Chili is a a one of a kind chili dish, and will absolutely blow you away! Full of flavor and nutrients… You wouldn’t know healthy could taste this good.

2 cans black beans, rinsed
1 can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed
1 can chili beans with sauce
1.5 cups cooked quinoa
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 yellow onion, chopped
1 red serrano pepper, finely chopped
2 carrots, finely chopped
1 tsp chili powder
¼ tsp dried sage
Dash of garlic powder or 1 garlic clove, minced
½ cup tomato sauce
½ cup chicken or beef stock
On stove top, brown ground beef. If you haven\\\'t yet, chop all veggies. Throw into the slow cooker with the rest of the ingredients. Cook on low for 6 hours, or high for 4 hours. Enjoy warm!
