Raw Vegan Swiss Roll

Here’s a delicious raw vegan Swiss roll recipe. This roll is really easy to make, requires no cooking and combines two of my favorite tastes: chocolate and coconut.

For the dark layer

½ cup of nuts/seeds of your choice
½ cup of oat flour or ground oats
3-4 tablespoons of cocoa powder
3 tablespoons of coconut oil
2 tablespoons of maple syrup


For the white layer

½ cup of shredded coconut
1/3 cup of oat flour
2 tablespoons of coconut oil
2 tablespoons of maple syrup

1 c sugar
3 T cornmeal
3 T unsweetened cocoa powder
Pinch salt
3 eggs
1/2 c salted butter
1/2 c light corn syrup
1 t vanilla extract
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, cornmeal, cocoa and salt. Add eggs, melted butter, corn syrup and vanilla; mix well. Pour into unbaked pie crust.
