A traditional north Indian snack made during Holi festival.

White flour (Maida) - 0.5 kg.
Semolina (Sooji) - 100 g
sesame seeds - 2 table spoons
Refined oil - 0.5 kg.
Salt to taste

Sieve the maida and sooji and mix together with 4 spoons of oil.
Add sesame seeds and salt to it.
Make many ball shaped dough with the mixture.
Spread the dough using the chapathi roller and cut it into preferred shapes (square, rectangle, triangle and diamond shapes are recommended).
Pour the 0.5kg of refined oil and heat it in a fry pan. Once hot, deep fry the cut dough in turns until it turns dark yellow in color.
Serve hot with tea.
