There are so many different kinds of chicken recipes out there, and some can be a bit boring. So, I thought to myself, why not spice it up a bit and make your chicken have some flavor to it? This is one of my favorite chicken recipes, and goes well with a salad on the side. This recipe serves 2.

2 teaspoons Mexican seasoning*
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1 small red onion, sliced
1/2 medium red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
1/2 medium yellow or green bell pepper, cut into thin strips
1/4 cup chunky salsa or chipolte salsa
1 tablespoon lime juice
lime wedge (optional)
