Sausage, Peppers & Penne in a light Parmesan Sauce

This meal is healthy-ish (yes there is butter in it), budget friendly, filling, and even carries some nutritional value...oh and even better- its easy! Great dish for a college student learning how to cook and a busy family living on a military budget.

1 box of whole wheat penne pasta
1 pound of turkey sausage (in the casing)
1 cup frozen chopped bell peppers (I buy the variety pack which includes red, green, and yellow- this makes for a colorful dish too!)
1/2 Cup Yellow Onion
2 cloves minced garlic
1 Tbs butter
1 Tbs Flour
1 cup Milk
1/4 Cup Grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Parsley for finish/ garnish

Cook pasta until al dente. Set aside.
