Sauted Spicy Prawns

The prawns or shrimps should be de-veined and de-shelled and should be marinated for at least 10 minutes with chili Turmeric powder and some salt. They are then cooked in lots of sauted garlic to give it nice aroma. Try to use lots of coriander leaves(Cilantro) which gives it extra flavor. I used Nando’s peri peri sauce , but can be substituted with hot sauce. Since I am using peri peri sauce, which already has salt, I didn’t add extra salt while cooking but you can adjust salt according to your

1 Lb(400 Grams) medium sized Prawns(Shrimps)
5-6 big garlic cloves(Grated)
1 Medium size Onion(Chopped fine)
4-5 Scallions(Green onions) chopped fine(Reserve few for garnishing)
1 Big bunch of coriander leaves(Cilantro)
2 Teaspoons Red Chili powder
1 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1 Tablespoon Nando’s Peri Peri Sauce ( Substitute with hot sauce)
3-4 Tablespoons Olive oil
Salt to taste
5-6 big garlic cloves(Grated)
1 Medium size Onion(Chopped fine)
4-5 Scallions(Green onions) chopped fine(Reserve few for garnishing)
1 Big bunch of coriander leaves(Cilantro)
2 Teaspoons Red Chili powder
1 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1 Tablespoon Nando’s Peri Peri Sauce ( Substitute with hot sauce)
3-4 Tablespoons Olive oil
Salt to taste
Deshell, devein the shrimps . Wash them well .
Apply a teaspoon each of chili powder , turmeric powder and salt .
Mix well and marinate for about 10 minutes.
Chop coriander leaves and keep aside.
