For Fruit Mixture
5 cups peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced

2 apples, sliced and cored

1/2 cup Whiskey (can be substituted with water) - I used Black Velvet Canadian Whiskey

2 Tablespoons cornstarch

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 Tablespoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon clove

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

For Crisp Topping
6 Tablespoons butter, cold - cut into cubes

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/3 cup flour

1/2 cup old-fashioned oats

dash clove

dash nutmeg

1 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. To peel peaches easily and quickly, you will want to make a small 'X' cut into the bottom of each peach. Boil a large pot of water and carefully place peaches into the water....
