1 pound flank steak, sliced thin across the grain
6 tablespoons rice wine vinegar, divided
4 tablespoons soy sauce
4 teaspoons sugar
4 teaspoons hoisin sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
4 teaspoons sesame oil, divided
1 cup diced yellow onion
2 teaspoon bottled minced ginger
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 cups asparagus cut in 1 inch pieces on the diagonal
1/2 cup sugar snap peas
