A heart healthy breakfast of baked oatmeal with strawberries and bananas

2 cups uncooked quick cooking oats
1/4 cup wheat bran
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 cup strawberries, hulled and cut into quarters
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 1/2 cups almond, coconut, soy or fat-free milk
2 over ripe bananas, mashed
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tbsp. light butter, melted
1/4 cup egg substitute or equivalent to 1 egg
1/4 cup real maple syrup or agave
