Sweet Basil Vinaigrette

Fresh, sweet, tangy, and easy to make, this dressing will make any salad taste gourmet. It\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s great on a green salad, drizzled over fruit, tossed with pasta or on grilled meat.

2 cups tightly packed fresh basil leaves (about ¼ lb)
1/3 cup rice vinegar
2 cloves garlic
2 TBS honey
1 TBS sugar (optional)
2 tsp Dijon mustard
¾ cup canola oil
¼ tsp kosher salt
¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
