I live part-time in Mexico where I enjoy this authentic Horchata recipe. This delicious Mexican drink is easy to make at home! Pair it with steak fajitas, baja fish tacos, and crispy pork carnitas.

Horchata Ingredients:
Uncooked long-grain white rice
Cold water
Cinnamon sticks
Mexican vanilla extract
Sweetened condensed milk
Whole milk or low-fat milk
Ground cinnamon ( Garnish )

Cantaloupe Agua Fresca

This delicious agua fresca is an excellent and refreshing way to use cantaloupe this Summer!

1 cantaloupe ( whole )
4 cups water
to taste sugar

  1. Add cantaloupe and water to blender and blend for about 1 1/2 min.
  2. Strain mixture into a pitcher.
  3. Add sugar to taste and stir.
  4. Serve over ice.
