The Minestrone (pasta and vegetables soup) - Il Minestrone di pasta

Must use big size pasta, ( "maccheroni", "butterflies" or "fusilli" etc.). The "concert" begins: prepare the broth,( Veal, chicken, beef, whatever). Stock cube NOT ALLOWED. Cook the pasta inside broth and leave it,until from the liquid composte becomes “creamy” (stirring it from time to time).

200 gr of pasta (maccheroni or either short pasta is good)
1 ½ fresh fava beans (or brown beans)
l ½ lbs. fresh green peas, unpodded
3 lbs. ripe tomatoes
2 lbs white (or golden) onions
1 ½ lbs zucchini
handful of basil leaves
2 tbs. minced parsley
1 head lettuce
1 ½ qts. olive oil
1 qt. beef (or chicken)
broth
pinch of salt
pepper
