Ingredients
For the cake:
7 large eggs, separated
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the liquid to pour over the cake:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 cup half and half

For the topping: 2 cups heavy cream 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
sweetened shredded coconut (optional)
maraschino cherries, drained and patted dry (optional)
