A healthier banana bread option, with the wonderful flavor or coconut added.

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 eggs
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup smashed, very ripe, bananas
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
