Best Ever Chicken Tortilla Soup

This soup is hearty and delicious! it has the right amount of zing. Better than any I've ever had. This is our go to soup!!!

soup: 2 large carrots, 6 celery ribs diced, 1 diced jalepeno, 1 medium onion diced, 3-4 russet potatoes cubed1/4 cup oil, 1/2 cup butter, 2 cloves garlic minced, 1 lb boneless chicken breast cubed, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp. lemon pepper, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp pepper, 1 tbsp tobbasco, 1/2 cup flour, 4- 10 oz. cans chicken broth, 1- 14 oz. can diced tomatoes .
Toppings: 1 package corn tortillas, 2 avocados, mexican blend chefs and sour cream
Heat oil and butter in large pot. Add all vegetables and chicken. Simmer 5-10 minutes ir until chicken is cooked. Add all spices and tobacco. Add flour.stir. Add broth and tomatoes. Simmer for 1-1 1/2 hours. Cut tortillas into small strip and fry. Either in pan or deep fryer. ENJOY!!!!
