Best Homemade Blueberry Syrup

This sweet homemade syrup is the perfect topping for any kind of breakfast waffle, pancake or french toast. I find it tastes especially delicious with my healthy breakfast waffles!

1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/4 cup maple syrup
1. Place both ingredients into a microwave-safe bowl. 2. put in microwave for 30 seconds. 3. Mix a bit. Suggestion: Only put 1- 3 tablespoons of the syrup on one waffle. I don't recommend you put more than that per waffle.

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
