1 1/2 cups sifted cake flour - gluten free use Bob's Red Mill AP flour and 1 1/4 tbsp xantham gum
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup whole milk
